Cheeky by Jacob is a digital illustration project by Montreal artist Jacob Le Gallais. Exploring gay imagery on social media, the male body and portraiture, each illustration aims to capture snapshots of everyday gay moments. Each piece is one of a limited edition of 15 (10"x10") prints featuring rich colours and a paired back minimalist aesthetic reminiscent of 20th century Pop Art.
Every piece is printed with high quality inkjet technology on Premium Archival Matte paper, and produced with an eye to long lasting quality. All prints are hand signed, monogrammed and editioned in archival graphite on the back, and include a certificated of authenticity. Each month will feature a new limited edition print, and all prints will be shipped at the end of each month (or once all quantities are sold, whichever comes first).
So what does limited edition mean?:
Each print sold is part of a limited edition run. This means that once printed, only that limited number of prints will be issued.
What is a certificate of authenticity?:
The certificate of authenticity is a card attesting to the authenticity of the artwork or print and serves as your record of purchase. Each card includes the artist’s name, signature and printer’s mark, the date the print was created, price paid, and the size of the print. It is recommended that the certificate of authenticity is affixed to the back after framing.
PLEASE NOTE: Every print has a 1/4 inch framing margin on top of 10”x10” sizing. Some colours may appear darker once printed. Frame in image is not included with print
Shipping and returns
All prints are packaged with clear protective sleeving and archival backing board. Although these materials are certified archival quality, I always recommend having your print framed as soon as possible. All prints are shipped in rigid mailer envelopes to protect against bending or other damage.
